Your Ultimate 90s Flashback Wedding Playlist

Now I was born in the 90s, so going to weddings was not something I did much during those first years of my life. But what I do know about the 90s is that it had a lot to do with extremskidzes… Take clothing, for example. The fashion of the day was something I have no words for. It was very… different. And much like the clothing of the 90s, the music of the time could very well be placed in a special category of its own. 90s music.

Now, combine this type of music with a wedding scenario and you get something that is just PHAT, to use a phrase coined in the 90s. And if you don’t agree then you can just talk to the hand, cos the face ain’t listening. Think about it. You are combining trending fashions of the day with the music of the day to give you one explosive 90s event!

With this in mind, I thought it would be cool to take a trip through the archives of 90s music and present you with 10 songs perfect for your 90s ultimate wedding playlist. We may not be there ourselves, but music has this powerful ability to evoke the most incredible feelings of nostalgia, it can take you back in time in a very real way. So close your eyes, put on your Dock Martins and tell me, can you feel the love tonight?
