Valentine’s Day Food Ideas

Now that you have selected the setting for your date, it’s time to choose your food, because what’s a date without food?

I’m treating Glen to a picnic, so here are a few of my ideas (thank you, Pinterest!):

Something heart shaped

It’s the one time of year that you can do this, and I just bought new heart shaped cookie cutters, so I’m excited to try this out.

Something in a jar

I came across an article with 50 different meals you can eat out of a jar, so that is the inspiration behind the picnic we’ll enjoy together.

Something Red Velvet

I like red velvet – mostly because of the cream cheese icing – and if you like incorporating something red into your Valentine’s Day, why not go with something tasty?

Red Velvet Cake Balls 1 box red velvet cake mix (cook as directed on box for 13 X 9 cake) 1 can cream cheese frosting (16 oz.) 1 package chocolate bark (regular or white chocolate) wax paper

Step 3: Enhance the setting with creative decor

There are a few picnic must haves, but there are also some additional decor ideas I’m going to try!
